In this seven-week course, learn to teach your puppy the most important skills first. Teach her to happily allow you to take off-limit items away, to politely wait at doors and for food bowls, to respond quickly and willingly to her name, and much more!

You and your puppy will have a blast throughout the entire process, as we use puppy-centered teaching methods designed to make learning easy and fun for both the student and the teacher.

As part of this course, you will have access to a community of like-minded puppy-owners who are also taking this course with you! The forums are a wonderful way to ask questions, stay motivated, and share your experiences as you make your way through the course.

Take this course on your own, with a friend, or in addition to private or group training with a positive-reinforcement, force-free trainer! You will always have unlimited access to any future updates, expansions, or revisions of the course.

"I thought your videos were awesome. Your technique is great. Your dogs are so fun... And the fact that you did not edit out your mistakes or the dogs' to show clients that mistakes happen... It's a fabulous course!"

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! While you will have lifetime access, the course will be released over 7 weeks, to help you pace yourself and to guide you as you practice.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund.
What if my dog is a beginner, but no longer a puppy?
This course will work great for your older beginner dog, too! Just keep in mind you may need to be a bit more patient, as your older dog already has some habits and it will take time for him/her to change them.
What kind of training methods will I use?
We will be using positive reinforcement, which means we will be saying "YES" to our dog when they do the right thing. We will also be monitoring your pup's access to the things he/she wants, giving access when your pup is doing what we like and taking away access when he/she is not.
Will I need to use a prong, choke, or shock collar on my puppy?
NO! Prong, choke, and shock collars use positive punishment, which means saying "NO" to our pups when they do the wrong thing, by hurting them or scaring them. No need to hurt puppies in this course or ever.
What if I don't want to use a clicker?
Although some research does suggest a clicker is more effective, an alternative to using the clicker is to use a marker word, like "yes!" or "good!" said in a very distinct tone. Try to make the word sound exactly the same every time you use it, just like the clicker sounds exactly the same every time.
